Ted Danson is a seemingly genuine nice older man who has a lovely lady in Mary Steenburgen and can play a funny jerk on TV. He has done this over the years, from Cheers to Damages and a couple of other sitcoms that we don’t feel like Googling (Becker, anyone?).
Speaking of not feeling like Googling, that sounds like a creepy pick-up line that Ted Danson would have delivered if he had only known about Google in the 1980s. Back when this video was made. Was there a misplaced version of Funny or Die in the 1980s? No? Then what, pray tell, inspired this creepy McCreeperson scene, in which Danson reads pathetic innuendos, and sometimes just explicit come-ons, from his little black book. And don’t sit like that. It’s only making us more uncomfortable. From Everything is Terrible!
