There’s a great Hollywood story that Tom Selleck originally was going to be Indiana Jones, until it turned out that Harrison Ford took the part, ran with it and hid inside a refrigerator to survive a nuclear bomb. We may have skipped a few steps. But it’s one of those legends of Hollywood casting that we love to tell again and again.
But before all of that hullaballoo, Selleck was on your TV investigating private cases on Hawaii as Magnum, and Ford was saving a galaxy far, far away as Han Solo. Turns out, as this video proves shot-for-shot, that they were essentially the same guy. No wonder they were both up for Indy!
