Just when you thought there was no way to stop the endless barrage of celebrity twats on Twitter, lo and behold, Twitter has your perfect solution: Put these celebrities on their own reality TV Twitter series!
You’d think that’s just what Ashton Kutcher, his wife Demi Moore, and all of the other celebs who now Tweet everything about their lives, would want. Right? Wrong. Apparently, they’re just fine with Twitter if their blather gets them on CNN and Oprah — but not if it means their fans can actually hunt them down with TV crews in tow as the subjects of a celebrity scavenger hunt.
Here was Kutcher’s response last night, of course, publicly displayed on Twitter: Um how about… I don’t want to be stalked!!! RT @madbrendan: sounds like a crap show anyway! cant imagine it getting many viewers lol
His “wifey” Mrs. Kutcher quickly followed with her own reply, also publicly on Twitter: I hope this isn’t true-if it is our Twitter time may come to a quick and sad end!
To recap, it’s OK for celebrities to exploit Twitter, but not the other way around. Get it? Got it? Good.
For our part, we are torn. We would love to get some of these famous Twats to stop hogging up the Twitter feeds with their own personal pursuit of continued celebrity, but then again, our whole mission is to share with you the silly things that Hollywood does. Paradox dilemma!
