It’s a lot of work being an actor. Not only do you have to constantly hone your acting skills, you need to keep your body in great shape. But then comes the day you give up… prepare yourself for smaller roles or even worse… Reality TV. Here are the top 8 actors who have completely let themselves go.

2. Joaquin Phoenix – Actor known for roles in Gladiator and Walk the Line, Phoenix has announced he has given up on acting and deciding to assume the role of a homeless rambler. Until Casey Affleck’s documentary is made, then you’ll see him in Walk The Line 2.
